Book in for a relaxing afternoon at Devon Pixies’ new spot at the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct. With delectable offerings your littles ones will enjoy, pick from homemade cakes, scones, slices and savouries. Don’t forget to try their signature Devon Pixies tea.

Pick your own strawberries or dragonfruit

If you want to create some new memories, there’s nothing like going on a fruit-picking adventure. Come spring, there are fresh strawberries to be picked at Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm – and during off season, there are always farm fresh strawberries to buy and delicious strawberry ice cream to eat. For the extra adventurous, dragonfruit – a tropical fruit that some describe as a cross between a pear and a kiwi – can be picked early summer until early autumn at Forest Dragon Fruit Farm in Forestdale.

Make sure to double check the farms’ Facebook pages to ensure ‘pick your own’ is available on the day.
