The City of Logan Volunteers Breakfast was held on Saturday, 23 May, at the Logan Entertainment Centre, marking the end of National Volunteer Week.

Local leaders showed their appreciation and served breakfast to the guests, who also enjoyed hearing a panel of volunteers sharing stories, and contributed to a gratitude wall with notes about what inspired them to volunteer, the hours they dedicate, and unforgettable moments.

Mayor Jon Raven says the breakfast was the city’s chance to celebrate the incredible impact of volunteers in the community and thank them for their efforts.

‘This was a great chance to say thank you to some of the kindest people in Logan who dedicate their time to helping others,’ Mayor Raven says.

‘This breakfast is a celebration of the generosity that makes our city such a wonderful place to live.’
