World Listening Day - Audio Workshop
Join Louise Wheatley to experience becoming immersed in nature through listening to the sounds of Logan’s natural spaces
Experience being immersed in nature through listening to recordings within Logan’s nature reserves, wetlands, parks and our own gardens. You are encouraged to bring your own wired headphones to plug in, and collectively, we will be transported through these spaces in our minds by just using our ears.
As part of this workshop, you will learn the technical process of recording these spaces with professional equipment, and how the recorded audio was treated to achieve the best auditory experience. A workshop for audio enthusiasts, nature lovers and pseudo astral travellers.

This event is part of ‘Where Do I Belong?’, which is a series of contemporary art exhibitions, bird-themed activities, events and performances around Logan that reveal the beauty and fragility of native birds while igniting hope for a sustainable future.
